Vanessa Wynn is a native of Macon, Georgia, and was educated in the Jones County Public School System.  After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Georgia, Vanessa worked for 6 years as a Department of Defense Contract Negotiator for Warner Robins Air Logistics Center on Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.  As a contract negotiator, she received training in the management of defense acquisition contracts, cost and price analysis, contract law, and personal computing.

For the next 16 years, Vanessa was a stay-at-home Mom.  She volunteered with several organizations and enhanced her skills in communication, teaching/training, program development/implementation, and data gathering/entry/reporting.

Upon returning to the workforce, Vanessa spent 16 years with Bibb County School District in the technology field.  She provided various software training sessions for district/school staff and managed the database for several educational software platforms.  Driven by her passion to see students in her local school district succeed, Vanessa facilitated technical support for the development of two district strategic plans; 37 annual school improvement plans; two district accreditation reviews; numerous superintendent-led, district-wide virtual meetings; and 7 district conferences (in-person and virtual).  She has presented at the Georgia Users AdvancED (currently known as Cognia) Conference, the Georgia Department of Education Federal Programs Conference, and the Simbli Virtual User Conference (by eBoard Solutions).

Vanessa has provided technology training/support for United Way of Central Georgia, the Macon Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, the Christian Men Mentoring and Serving the Community (CM2ASTC) organization, and leaders/staff at several local churches.  She has served as a Financial Peace University Class Coordinator and has experience in leading Christian Education trainings/sessions for teachers (15 years) and couples (7 years).

Arthur has been Vanessa's supportive husband for over 39 years.  They have two beautiful daughters; Both work in the Information Technology field.
